A California Distinguished, WASC-accredited school in the San Fernando Valley, preparing 6th–8th graders for success in high school, college, and beyond since 1999. 📚 PUC Community Charter Middle School, serving grades 6 through 8, opened in 1999 and was the first start-up charter school ever opened in the San Fernando Valley. Through total devotion to students,

small class sizes, extensive exposure to the arts, and personalized and nurturing assistance, the faculty has made great strides towards its goal. It has consistently received a 9 or 10 on the similar schools rank of the API. Each year, hundreds of students apply for the limited open seats.

Lunchtime at CCMS is about more than eating. 💙💛🐬

It is one of those moments in the day when our students get to simply be together.

Different cultures. Different languages. Different interests. Different stories. One community. 🌎✨

At CCMS, we want our Dolphins to understand that kindness is not just something we talk about when adults are watching. Character is what you choose to do when no one is looking.

Invite someone to sit with you. Make room at the table. Say hello. Include someone new. Pick up after yourself. Respect the people around you. Choose words that build people up.

Those small choices matter. They are how friendships begin, how people feel like they belong, and how a school becomes a community. 💛

Our diversity is one of our greatest strengths, and every student deserves to feel seen, respected, welcomed, and valued here.

📣 IMPORTANT REMINDER 📣

Back to School Night is not Parent Conference Night. Our teachers will be welcoming many families, so this is not the setting for private or extended conversations about individual grades.

Tomorrow is your first step toward gathering information about your child’s learning environment and reflecting on what can be reinforced at home. 🏠❤️

If you would like to discuss your child’s grades, progress, or individual needs, please schedule an appointment with their teachers. This will allow them to give your questions the time, privacy, and attention they deserve. 📅

Middle school students may act like your presence is no big deal, but trust us, they notice. When you attend, you are telling your child:
❤️ I see you.
🌟 I believe in you.
🎓 Your education and future matter to me.

Please bring your child and let them proudly show you around! Students who attend with a parent or guardian will also earn a FREE DRESS PASS! 🎉👕

Families have been assigned one of two sessions based on last name. If your assigned session does not work, please attend the other one. The most important thing is that you are here! 🙌

Let’s pack the house and make our first major event of the year unforgettable! The magic of CCMS grows stronger whenever school and family come together. ✨
