Home Schooling, Homemaking and Crafting This is a blog about our Home Schooling experiences. I have 3 sons, ages 7yo, 4yo and 2.5yo. Baby girl is due October 2013!
You'll find Preschool, Kindergarten, First Grade and soon 2nd Grade ideas and information on my blog. We do weekly field trips and I post about workboxing and other organization tips, as well as homeschool product reviews! I'll also be throwing in some info about Homemaking and crafting as well :D
Operating as usual
Feels good to be crafty! I don’t get to do it often, but I love it! Made 5 shirts for our team coaches!

National rocky road day @ldshe We are making rocky road candy with chocolate covered almonds, big marshmallows (bc I ordered the wrong ones) and we decided to throw some coco puffs in there too! We will cover them in chocolate next. Yum!!
GLOBAL RUNNING DAY ACTIVITIES
1. Go running
Run a couple of laps in the neighborhood, take your dog out for an extra-long walk, or call your friends and go for a run in the park. It doesn’t matter where you do it, just go for a run.
2. Register for a race
Convince your friends and family to join you in participating in a community race. 5k run, anyone? (See https://bit.ly/3sVDAnK for a list of June races near you)
3. Get kids involved
Running is a good way to make fitness fun for kids. You can incorporate activities and games to get them active and engaged. Share with us what you do to celebrate below or post with and tag us
Another road trip in the books! This was a long one! Hitting up family some of which we hadn’t seen in 6-8 years. We attended the @ldshe conference in TN too. The 2nd map is all states we’ve been to to date.

At the Online Mid-Winter Conference: Lead Out Against Prejudice with Jen Altman Chestnut Grove Academy
In the October 2020 General Conference, President Nelson issued the call “to lead out in abandoning attitudes and actions of prejudice” and pleaded with us “to promote respect for all of God's children.” Come and learn ways that we can apply these words to our own personal lives, as well as within our homes and communities. What does leading out and promoting entail? How can we identify prejudiced attitudes in ourselves? In what ways can we promote respect and help others feel welcome at church and in our communities? These conversations are not always comfortable, but they are important. I hope you will join us as we strive to become more Christlike and show greater love to those around us.
