Did you miss the Online Conference? Have no fear! You can still see Jen Altman if you join us at the East Family Retreat May 12-13 in Morristown, TN for Tips and Tools for Time Management for Home and School: As humans we wear so many hats which can be hard to juggle at times. Come learn some tips and tools to better manage our time and accomplish more throughout the day. #ldshe #timemanagement #homeschoolconference #ldsyouth #ldshomeschool #ldshomeschoolers #ldshomeschooling #homeschoolreels Jen Altman Chestnut Grove Academy
At the Online Mid-Winter Conference: Lead Out Against Prejudice with Jen Altman Chestnut Grove Academy
In the October 2020 General Conference, President Nelson issued the call “to lead out in abandoning attitudes and actions of prejudice” and pleaded with us “to promote respect for all of God's children.” Come and learn ways that we can apply these words to our own personal lives, as well as within our homes and communities. What does leading out and promoting entail? How can we identify prejudiced attitudes in ourselves? In what ways can we promote respect and help others feel welcome at church and in our communities? These conversations are not always comfortable, but they are important. I hope you will join us as we strive to become more Christlike and show greater love to those around us. #leadoutagainstprejudice #followtheprophet #ldshomeschool #ldshomeschoolers #ldshomeschooling #ldshe #homeschoolconference #onlineconference #virtualconference #loveoneanother #tryingtobelikejesus Feb 17-18 www.ldshe.org
Today was a great first day on the HYA FBB London tour! Students have enjoyed a kick around at Football Beyond Borders headquarters in Brixton, then they went to Chestnut Grove Academy to meet and play a mixed team tournament with their year 8-10 students. After a fantastic tournament students were then treated to a Nando’s in Balham before heading off to Woodrow High House and Sports Centre in Amersham which will be their base for the next two nights. Students are excited to tour Stamford Bridge tomorrow before heading off to Walthamstow Academy for their second round of football. #educationwithcharacter #nothinglessthan9

GLOBAL RUNNING DAY ACTIVITIES

1. Go running
Run a couple of laps in the neighborhood, take your dog out for an extra-long walk, or call your friends and go for a run in the park. It doesn’t matter where you do it, just go for a run.

2. Register for a race
Convince your friends and family to join you in participating in a community race. 5k run, anyone? (See https://bit.ly/3sVDAnK for a list of June races near you)

3. Get kids involved
Running is a good way to make fitness fun for kids. You can incorporate activities and games to get them active and engaged. Share with us what you do to celebrate below or post with and tag us
