Due to inclement weather, the FNBO Challenge has been postponed to tomorrow, Saturday, August 22, 2026 at DeKalb High School at 501 W. Dresser Road in DeKalb.

Freshman Football will kick off at 4:00 PM, followed by Varsity Football at 6:30 PM. There will not be a Parade of Athletes as part of the rescheduled events.

Thank you to our community for your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students, families, staff, and community.

UPDATE as of 5:26 PM: The Parade of Athletes at 6:15 PM has been canceled. At this time, the Varsity Football Game at 7:00 PM is on as scheduled. We will update any future changes as the information becomes available.

Due to current weather conditions, the freshman football game at the FNBO Challenge is postponed at this time. A new date will be announced soon.

The Parade of Athletes at 6:15 PM and the Varsity Football Game at 7:00 PM are ON as scheduled.

We look forward to seeing our Spartans and Barbs at Huskie Stadium tonight. Please continue to stay tuned for any additional updates.

Congratulations to Sycamore High School's own Graham Willrett who was recently named a finalist for The Illinois High School Tennis Coaches Association's Tom Pitchford Sportsmanship Award -- given to the player who represents the highest standards of tennis, on court sportsmanship, team leadership and support, academic success and integrity, and school and community involvement.

This recognition was started to honor the legacy of Tom Pitchford, storied coach at Arlington Heights (and later Hersey High School), who was not only one of the founders of the IHSTCA but also a longtime manager of the Boys State Tournament. Pitchford was a driving force behind making the State Tournament the grand event it is today.
