Sycamore Drum Club

Sycamore Drum Club Join us at The Music Connection, LLC (515 Dekalb Avenue, Sycamore, IL 60178) for a new educational experience for school percussionists.

Reminder: our next drum club session is tomorrow (Saturday, January 11th) from 5:30pm to 7pm at Sycamore HS in Sycamore, IL. All area percussion students are welcome to come check it out (no cost).

We will meet in the Sycamore HS band room. Please contact us at # 815-217-5648 or [email protected] with any questions.

Sticks, instruments, and music will be provided. Parents and friends are welcome to sit in also.

This drum club, taught by professionals, allows students to get the extra percussion-focussed guidance that they might not be able to get at their own school and have fun in the process.

We hope to see you tomorrow, January 11th, at Sycamore HS in the band room at 5:30pm.

Join us for our first drum club showcase performance at the Fall Recital for The Music Connection, LLC. The recital will be held at First Baptist Church of Sycamore (530 West State Street in Sycamore, IL).

This showcase performance will allow drum club students to perform some warm-ups and show what they have been working on this Fall. Instructors Ben Weaver, Jordan Smith, and Jared Hurn will share more about the drum club during the showcase performance.

Our Drum Club Sessions will continue through May 2025. All student percussionists are welcome to attend!

Great session # 7 today. Special thanks to Noah, Olivia, Adalie, and Sean for stopping by and drumming for the whole session. And thank you to instructors Jared Hurn and Jordan Smith for playing and teaching so well.

We won't have a session on Nov. 30th due to the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

We will resume the drum club on Dec. 7th at 5:30pm at Sycamore High School. Stay tuned for an update video from us!
