Mohawk Local School District announced today the launch of the Mohawk Local School District app by esv2go which is now available for iOS™, Android™, and Windows™ devices. The app enables parents, students, faculty and staff with the ability to stay connected and informed about what’s happening at Mohawk Local School District. Administrators can now easily promote unified messaging through cross platform communications to the app via push notifications.

The Mohawk Local School District app by esv2go is free and provides parents with quick access to everything school-related including calendars, directions to events, contact information for teachers and administrators, important documents, cafeteria menus, and more.

Summer is moving way too fast! Open house has been scheduled for August 16th from 5:00 - 7:30 pm. Please make sure you have registered or updated your account on Final Forms, prior to August 13th. The link for this can be found on the school website. There will be no summer school for the elementary this year, due to a lack of interest. Please have your students continue to practice their skills using their iReady accounts. We can't wait to see all of your smiling faces on August 18th for the first day of school.

The sixth grade gifted ELA students have been trying different types of writing this year. Recently, several students submitted poetry to the Young American Poetry Digest for possible publication. Several students had their poems chosen to be published in the 27th edition of the digest.

Congratulations to our Warrior Published Poets and their teacher, Mary Ann Kaple: Riley Coffman, Ava Kingseed, Myer Kirian, Hayden Mills, Sean Roby, Molly Ward and Kaitlyn Woodland.
