Shout out to Tia for earning some big time honors out of the SS position this summer! 👏🏼👏🏼 Tia was primarily a SS for us in high school but could play anywhere on the field. She made some amazing plays during her Spartan days! She continues her playing career for the University of Washington. Congrats, Tia!!
PS-add an award for her bat too!! She sits in the Top Ten in many offensive categories in program history!

Kicking off the off-season with our first volunteering assignment of the school year! It’s Fall Book Sale time at The Sycamore Public Library this weekend. We have done this a couple times now and it’s been a pleasure helping the Friends of the Library group get everything set up. There are a lot of boxes of books to move around and unpack!
We love to help out in our community. It’s important for our young people to see the value of donating your time and muscle. Sometimes donating money doesn’t get the job done. Not everyone has money to give but many of us can spare an hour and a half to save others 15 hours of work. It’s also a fun way to get to know each other without it being about softball. I’m excited to learn more about this group as we get going! A lot of difference makers tonight! 👏🏼👏🏼
PS..SO. MANY. BOOKS. Kids books are a QUARTER. Yes. As in 25 cents. Everything else is pretty much $2 or LESS. Most of the books are in excellent condition. They have CDs and DVDs too. Come visit them on Friday and Saturday, 9am-4:30. 📚
