When I made the decision to host a summer program this year I knew that I wanted the children to leave with skills that they could use in the real world. I made the decision to host a young entrepreneur series in which the children learned about entrepreneurship and the importance of partnerships in business. The children decided they wanted to learn about opening a lemonade stand and what it would take for them to operate their own business. Mrs. Anna Wilson of DeKalb Chamber of Commerce came out and met with our little ones and worked diligently with them to go over the ins and outs of what would be needed for them to do so. I would like to thank DeKalb Chamber of Commerce for allowing Mrs. Anna to work with our little ones. We truly appreciate all of your help and support💕

Ms. Tyona Green🎉👩🏽‍🏫

Hello! My name is Ms. Tyona.

I graduated from The Cooking & Hospitality Institute of Chicago in 2010 with an Associate of Applied Science degree. I have always had a passion for working with children and serving others. After the birth of my third son, I had the opportunity to begin a career in Early Childhood Education, where I discovered my true passion for nurturing and supporting young learners during their most important developmental years.

I am currently continuing my education as I work toward earning my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. I am currently working as an Interim Conditional Early Childhood Teacher in the Tadpole room( ages 2-4)I am excited to be a part of the Mother’s Little Helper Learning Center team and look forward to partnering with families to provide a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.
