For every child who dies from drowning, another EIGHT receive emergency department care.

That's the reality behind the headlines — drowning isn't just a fatality statistic. It's thousands of children and families facing ER visits, hospital stays, and sometimes long-term injuries like hypoxic brain damage that can affect them for life.

The takeaway? Prevention isn't optional — it's essential, every time a child is near water.

📣 Follow, like, and share this post to support Stop Drowning Now's mission to prevent these tragedies before they happen.
