Join the Sycamore Orchestra Program!
Beginning in 4th grade, students can join the Sycamore Orchestra Program and learn to play violin, viola, cello, or bass. Beginning students receive a 30-minute small-group lesson once a week during the school day and participate in 45-minute large-group rehearsals every other week after school.

Students and families are invited to Sign-Up Night on Wednesday, September 2, from 3:30-6:30 PM at Sycamore Middle School. This open house will give students the opportunity to try all four instruments and rent an instrument. The monthly rental fee is the only cost for families. There is no school fee to join!

Students and families can enjoy games, popsicles, therapy dogs, NIU football players, new water bottle stickers, and time to reconnect with friends and staff. Whether you've completed every challenge or are just getting started, we'd love to celebrate with you! 🖤💛
