Sycamore Education Foundation

It takes a community to create more opportunities for Sycamore students and teachers.

A huge thank you to our 2026-27 Sycamore Education Foundation sponsors for investing in our mission and the students, teachers and schools we serve.

Your support helps SEF fund classroom grants, scholarships, programs and opportunities that go beyond what the regular school budget can provide.

We are grateful to have you behind our students and educators. 💚

Our community showed up for Take Root in a big way, and our auction donors helped make it possible.

Thank you to the local businesses, organizations, educators, school groups, families and community members who generously donated items and experiences to this year’s auction.

Every donation gave our community another way to participate and helped us raise more to support opportunities for Sycamore students and teachers.

Congratulations to our 2026 Distinguished Alumni, Kris Rhynders Wrenn and Michelle Rhynders Schulz!

The sisters, both proud Sycamore High School graduates, were recognized for decades of leadership, volunteerism and service to our schools and community.

There was an especially meaningful connection to this year’s Take Root celebration. Kris helped launch the fundraiser, which raised more than $60,000 at the inaugural event and established an important source of support for SEF classroom grants.

We were proud to celebrate Kris and Michelle and the many ways they continue to show up for Sycamore. 💚

Live music, friends, families and plenty of Sycamore spirit made Take Root 2026 a night to remember.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at MVP Sports Bar and helped make the block party such a fun and successful night. We loved seeing our community come together in support of Sycamore students and teachers!

Take a look at some of our favorite moments from the night. 📸

What happens when a community shows up for Sycamore students and teachers?

Together, we raised $16,224.99 at Take Root 2026!

Thank you to everyone who came out, made a gift, bid in the auction, donated an item, sponsored the event or helped make the night possible.

Every dollar raised helps the Sycamore Education Foundation create more of those “wouldn’t have happened otherwise” opportunities for students and teachers across our district.

Thank you, Sycamore. 💚
