Great news! Open Studios were such a success last year that we have brought them back EVERY WEEK! The art dept is calling it Art Tutoring and it runs at the same time after school tutoring happens. We will meet M, T, and W with a specific classroom open for the focus. Come work on any project you need to this year and get some extra help from the art teachers!

16 days left of school means you are running out of time to turn in your missing/late art projects. If you need more time and access to materials, come to Open Studio. The art classrooms will be open to all current art students who need to work on a missing assignment or final exam project.** Art teachers (some not all) will be available to help you. Come in and get your work done. It’s crunch time!

**all art students are required to still attend their finals unless they are a senior

We are 1 week away from the opening of our district art show! All students in the show should be notified by the teacher through email or letter by May 5th. The show is up for 3 days with a closing reception on May 8th. The art department faculty will be present on the evening of May 8th. Few, but not all will be present on the 6th and 7th.

We hope to see you there! We can’t wait to celebrate the talents of our students!

Wow! What a showing for the Kishwaukee College Juried Art show! We are so proud of all the work that was entered into the show and all of our place winners from DHS.
