Both classes volunteered at Glenburn in the Memory Care unit yesterday.. They worked in pairs & had been assigned an anonymous resident and planned activities based on the resident's interests. The activities went well, students used communication techniques learned in their Dementia Care course and learned that flexibility is often required.
No photos w/ residents in order to abide by HIPAA, but students all looked sharp!
