SAVE THE DATE! 📆
9th graders and students new to Pocono Mountain East High School are invited, with their families, to Orientation on Tuesday, August 25, at 6:30pm.

Students will learn about East High School, receive their schedules, and tour the building to find their classrooms and lockers. We hope to see you there!

**Returning students, grades 10-12, may visit East High School on Friday, August 28, from 11am-1pm to receive their schedules.**

Congratulations to East High School Senior, Finn McGovern, who recently attended the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Sciences. Finn spent 5 weeks at Carnegie Mellon University where he completed a rigorous STEM residency program.

When asked to select a teacher who has positively impacted him, Finn chose Mrs. Newlander-Jones, a Science teacher at East High School. Mrs. Newlander-Jones even made the trip to Pittsburgh to attend the closing banquet!

Congratulations, Finn and Mrs. Newlander-Jones!
