I-70 CONFERENCE ALL-TOURNAMENT HONORS!

Congratulations to Keelee Price on being selected to the I-70 Conference All-Tournament Team!

Sweet Springs finished 1st in pool play for the first time in team history and battled our way to a 4th-place finish in the conference tournament! We are proud of this accomplishment and excited to see our player recognized for her hard work and performance!

Today students got to hear a great message, . B. Farris is a motivational speaker from Arkansas that brings music, engagement and a message of encouragement. " I believe I can do anything!" It was fun to see our students engaged in this upbeat presentation. There was dancing, singing and chanting! He spoke about facing fears, reaching their potential and becoming who they are meant to be.

5th grade students have been learning about Lewis & Clark in social studies. Last week, students experienced a live demonstration on how to make a fire using only the tools Lewis and Clark had to create fire on their expedition! Discussion was also facilitated on how the state of matter changed. A special thank you to Corbin Eckhoff, member of our local Boy Scout Troop, for providing the demonstration!

Tonight we celebrated the Volleyball Seniors! They beat Orrick in 3 sets! Records were broken, congratulations to Alivia (500 digs and 500 assists) and Abby (1,000 digs)!
