Oak Heights 5th graders took a field trip to Sweet Home’s Water Treatment Plant on Friday to learn about the origins of our city water. Water Plant Operators Jaeger and Tanner gave an interesting presentation explaining how Sweet Home’s city water is received and filtered. The students were able to look at a giant filter and ask many questions. Jaegar and Tanner ended the trip with a goodie bag gift for each student and a fresh glass of water to drink! Many thanks, Jaegar and Tanner! It was a fun learning experience!
