⭐ Sweet Briar College is celebrating a very important milestone on October 3, 2026! This will be their 100th annual horse show!

“This event is a testament to the importance of equestrian sports and their legacy at Sweet Briar," says Sweet Briar College President Mary Pope M. Hutson.

🏆 The college’s IHSA team is one of Virginia’s founding teams and has sent many riders and teams to Nationals over the years. The 2022 & 2006 teams finished in 3rd place at Nationals. Other notable individual successes include Makayla Benjamin winning the coveted Caccione Cup at Nationals in 2018.

Welcome to Sweet Briar College, Pote!

We are so grateful to Patrick and the Miller Family for sharing Pote with us. True to his name, Pote will be a pal to many of our horses and to plenty of students around campus! We are so excited to have him join the Sweet Briar family.
