What an AMAZING day filled with fun, laughter, and lots of smiles! Our kids had an absolute BLAST enjoying the 🐐 petting zoo, 🚜 hayrides, 🏰 inflatables, and 🎨 face painting!
A HUGE thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped make today such a success! A special shoutout to our incredible Specials Team for all the hard work, planning, and dedication that went into putting this event together! ❤️
We also want to give a big THANK YOU to our administration team for jumping right in, lending a helping hand, and being so hands-on throughout the event! Your support means so much!

Fall Break is Next Week!

Sweeny ISD will be closed Monday, October 12, through Friday, October 16, 2026. That means NO SCHOOL all week!

Classes will resume on Monday, October 19. We hope all of our families enjoy a fun and relaxing Fall Break!

Today in Mrs. Tipps’ class, our students worked on writing sentences about our read-aloud, Tiny Rabbit’s Big Wish by Margarita Engle!
Students learned that even though Tiny Rabbit was tiny, he had big ears that helped him hear important sounds throughout the forest.
We loved practicing our sentence-writing skills while thinking about the details we learned from our story!
