💙 An Important Update From Our School Community 💙

As many of you know, construction at the middle school will require the closure of our pool this summer. While we know this is disappointing news for many families, students, and community members who enjoy our swim programs, we are excited about the improvements being made for the future of our school and community.

🏊 June 12 will be the final day for all swim activities at the Middle School Pool before the summer closure. Please see previous post for our last day of swim activities! We invite everyone to join us for one last day of swimming as we look ahead to the exciting changes to come.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support during this transition. We are incredibly grateful for our school family and community, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back when construction is complete.

🏊 Lap Swim | 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM
🌊 Open Swim | 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
💪 Water Aerobics | 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Whether you’re looking to get in some exercise, cool off with friends and family, or try a fun water workout, we’ve got something for everyone!

☀️ Start your mornings with movement, mindfulness, and positive energy! Join us for Flex and Flow’s Morning Flow classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6AM. Whether you’re looking to build strength, improve flexibility, or simply start your day feeling refreshed, we’d love to have you on the mat! 🧘‍♀️✨

The beginning of June we will hold classes in the High School room 401.
Once school is out and construction begins classes will be moved out the our football stadium.

Students participating in athletics during the 2026–2027 school year must have a sports physical dated after April 15, 2026 on file.
Goodrich High School is hosting a Sports Physical Night on Tuesday, May 26 from 5:00 PM–7:00 PM for just $20 with no appointment needed.
Families may also be interested in the free Teen Heart Screening taking place that same evening at Goodrich High School from 4:00 PM–8:00 PM.

Our Swim Lessons are making a splash starting May 11th, and we can’t wait to see your swimmers in the water! Whether your child is just getting comfortable or ready to level up their skills, we’ve got a class for everyone 💦

✨ Here’s a quick look at our levels:
👶 Parent/Toddler (Session 1 & 2): A fun, guided introduction to the water where little ones build comfort and confidence with a parent by their side.
🏊 Level 1: Perfect for beginners learning basic water safety and getting comfortable floating and moving in the water.
🐟 Level 2: Builds on fundamentals by introducing independent movement and basic stroke development.
🌊 Level 3: Focuses on improving coordination and strengthening strokes while increasing endurance.
🏅 Level 4: Refines technique and builds stronger, more confident swimmers ready for advanced skills.
