Tomorrow, October 6, is the deadline, and SCCS is just shy of reaching at least 50% participation in the Educational Benefits Application.

We need your help to get us there!

If you have NOT completed the application yet, please take less than 5 minutes and do it today.

Even if you know you won’t qualify.
Even if you don’t think it applies to your family.

Pictured here, our first-grade team is meeting as a Professional Learning Community (PLC), working together to review student data and talk about ways to strengthen instruction in reading and math.

Every grade-level team at Elms participates in PLCs, giving teachers dedicated time to collaborate, look at student learning and plan next steps to help all students grow.

Our formal fall data meetings are coming up in a few weeks, but this ongoing collaboration helps our teams stay focused on student learning all year long.

Miss Parson’s 5th graders put their teamwork skills to the test as they worked together in groups to complete puzzles. Just like the football teams they drafted through NFeLementary, students learned that communication, collaboration, and working together are key to reaching a common goal!

In Mrs. Neu’s art class, Ms. Cook’s 4th graders transformed their creativity from flat to fantastic as they created dinosaur tri-ramas! Students brought their prehistoric scenes to life by turning 2D ideas into colorful, 3D creations. 🦕🎨
