Day 3 in Third Grade! 💚🐾

Our third graders mixed things up a little today and spent time in different classrooms enjoying all kinds of hands on fun.

There were games of Battleship, pattern block designs, Play-Doh creations, Plus-Plus building, and lots of conversation, creativity, and laughter along the way.

Three days in, and the adventure is already well underway! 💚🐾

Our littlest Husky Pups have officially joined the adventure! 🐾💚

Yesterday we welcomed our preschoolers for their very first day of school, and there was no shortage of excitement, smiles, exploring, playing, learning, and making new friends.

What a first day! 💚🐾

It was so exciting to have our halls filled with students again and, for the very first time, to have our entire PreK–6 MTC community together under one roof!

The first few days of school always come with lots of learning for students and adults alike. We’re teaching new routines, practicing procedures, adjusting systems, and figuring out the flow of our much bigger school community. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through those first day wrinkles.

A special reminder as we continue refining arrival and dismissal: please, please, please follow the designated times for entering the driveway. Those timeframes really do matter and help us keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.

Most of all…welcome back, Husky Pups! 🐾 It is SO good to have you here.

🍕 Can you guess how many pizzas it takes to feed the entire MTC staff?

We may have forgotten to get a picture before the pizza disappeared…but we did manage to capture the evidence. 😂

A HUGE thank you to the Leclaire family for surprising our entire staff with pizza today! It was such a generous gesture and very much appreciated during this busy first week.

As you can see…we didn’t let it go to waste! 💚🍕🐾

Thank you so much for the very kind shout-out and for always being such a supportive neighbor to our MTC students and families. We’re so fortunate to be part of a community that shows up for one another in so many different ways.

It truly takes a village, and we appreciate ours! 💚

Can we take a minute to brag on our neighbors over at Mount Caesar Elementary School?! 🥹🍎

They’ve been putting out their back-to-school transition videos for the kiddos, and I have to say… THEY ARE SO DANG CUTE.

Welcoming, fun, thoughtful, and exactly the kind of thing that can turn those back-to-school butterflies into excitement.

This is so cool!

Honestly, after watching them, I’m about ready to grab myself a fresh box of crayons and start kindergarten all over again. 😂

Mount Caesar is extra special to us because they’re not just our neighbors. So many of the little humans who wander through Hidden Treasures, come to our events, paint our rocks, make our scarecrows, and grow up right alongside this crazy little place are Mount Caesar kiddos. 💛

So this is just a little neighbor-to-neighbor shout-out to the teachers, staff, and everyone behind those videos:
