For Indigenous Peoples' Day today,
students explored Abenaki history and culture through read-alouds, storytelling, interactive maps, traditional games, art, math, and current events. Some classes welcomed guest speakers who shared aspects of Abenaki culture and heritage, while others explored how Indigenous communities have adapted over time and continue to shape our world today.

And every NEST student contributed to our annual Thunderbird mural, which will be installed soon!
