MVSD was thrilled to welcome U.S. Representative for Vermont Becca Balint and Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas to Highgate Elementary School to debrief with our state's first Kid Governor, Roslyn Fortin, as she comes to the end of her term!

During her time in office Roslyn was able to address some real issues in Vermont by organizing cereal donations to help those in need in our community.

Way to start this amazing educational program off on the right foot Roslyn!

You can pick up 14 free meals for each of your kids every week between June 18 and August 21! These free meal boxes are available to all children under the age of 18 and can be picked up at the following places and times weekly:

-Highgate Elementary, 219 Gore Rd. Highgate
Thursdays 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

-Swanton Central School, Bushey St. Bus Loop, Swanton
Fridays 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM

-Sheldon Food Shelf, 52 Church St. Sheldon
Fridays 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
