🍂🦃 THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE! 🦃🍂

Swansboro Elementary PTO is partnering with Burrito Shak - Swansboro for our Thanksgiving Food Drive! 💙🏴‍☠️
This year, our goal is to help provide Thanksgiving meals for 50 families in our community, and we need your help to make it happen! ❤️

📦 HOW TO HELP:
A collection box will be placed for each grade level at Swansboro Elementary. Donate nonperishable food items to your grade level's box, and let's see which grade can collect the most!

🏆 THE WINNING GRADE LEVEL WILL EARN AN ICE CREAM OR PIZZA PARTY, COURTESY OF THE PTO! 🍕🍦

📅 DONATION DEADLINE: November 13
(PTO will collect items as boxes fill up!)

🌯 TWO GREAT NIGHTS TO DONATE!
Join us at Burrito Shak for our upcoming Spirit Nights:
📍 October 6
📍 November 3

Both nights are a great opportunity to grab dinner, support our school, and bring a donation to help local families this Thanksgiving season! 🧡

Every donation makes a difference, and together we can help make the holidays a little brighter for 50 families in our community. Thank you for your generosity and continued support of Swansboro Elementary! 💙🏴‍☠️

Let's fill those boxes and show off our Pirate Pride! 🏴‍☠️✨

✨💕 Get Ready for Dolly Day on Friday! 📚✨

We’re excited to celebrate Dolly Day this Friday, September 25th! Dolly Parton has made an incredible impact on children and families through her commitment to education, literacy, and a love of reading through her Imagination Library. We’re celebrating her legacy with a day full of fun, books, and, of course… a little sparkle!✨

🎀 Show your Dolly Day spirit! Students and staff are encouraged to dress in their favorite Dolly-inspired style—think:
✨ Rhinestones and sparkles
🤠 Cowboy hats and boots
👢 Country attire
💇 Big hair
🌈 Bright colors
⭐ Or anything that makes you feel a little extra Dolly!

📚 And there’s more! Why September 25th? We chose 9/25 in honor of Dolly’s famous song, “9 to 5!"

⏰ At 9:00 AM on 9/25, our entire school will stop and read! We’ll pause what we’re doing for a few minutes to enjoy a book together and celebrate the joy of reading and literacy. 📖❤️

We hope our families will join us in making Friday a fun and memorable day!
