Seventh graders in Ms. Ray and Mr. Cooper’s science classes practiced their observation skills with “popcorn babies”. Students were challenged to identify their piece of popcorn when it was mixed up with all of the popcorn pieces from their class. 🍿

Owen Middle School faculty and staff embarked on a ‘Valley Tour’ as it wrapped up its teacher week before inviting students back for another great year! New and returning OMS staff got to see the Owen district, while being told the history of the Swannanoa Valley from Principal McMahan. The trip was capped off with a stop at Short Sleeve Coffee in Beacon Village and more stories from Owen alum, former OMS history teacher and principal’s dad, Mr. Jack McMahan!

OMS Faculty and Staff are proud to be Warcolts and excited to see the 26-27 Warcolts on Monday morning! Doors open at 7:10 am for another great school year!

OWEN MIDDLE SCHOOL WARCOLTS FALL CHEER

JOIN WARCOLTS FALL CHEER!

No previous cheer experience required!

We’re looking for enthusiastic students who want to learn, grow, and be part of a team.

As a Warcolts Fall Cheerleader, you’ll:

Cheer at football games
Have the opportunity to compete in November
Learn cheers, motions, jumps, stunts, and other cheer skills
Build friendships, confidence, and school spirit
Participate in team activities and special events throughout the season
