Swainsboro Middle School will be closed October 12th-16 as students and staff enjoy a much needed fall break. We will resume normal business hours on October 19th. We wish everyone a safe and relaxing fall break!

🚨 Calling all heroes! 🚨

Red Ribbon Week is landing at Swainsboro Middle School, and we’re ready to SUIT UP, STAND UP, and STAY DRUG-FREE!

This year’s theme is “Be a Hero, Stay Drug Free!” Our students will have a whole week of fun dress-up days and activities as we celebrate making healthy choices and being the kind of hero who looks out for themselves and others.

Let’s make this week SUPER! Remember: real heroes make healthy choices and stay drug free!

SMS Jr. Beta had a meeting today during Tiger Time. Members received updated information regarding service projects and the state convention.

Members received order forms for a cookie dough fundraiser. The goal is for each member to sell at least 5 items. For siblings, the goal is 3 items each. This fundraiser will end October 30th.

For members attending the convention, please make a second payment by October 30th.

Back to the Basics: Kindness. Respect. Unity.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and we’re keeping the momentum going with Unity Day on Wednesday, October 21st!

We started the month strong by wearing BLUE for World Day of Bullying Prevention, and now we’re getting Back to the Basics because creating a positive school community starts with the simple things: being kind, showing respect, including others, and looking out for one another.
