Barns of South Georgia My goal was to go out and take photographs of old barns and homesteads in South Georgia. I wanted to preserve their history. Hope you enjoy.

This site was created to show the old barns and homesteads of South Georgia. Many of these old barns are being torn down today and will not be around much longer to enjoy. They are part of our rich Southern history along with many old homesteads that I have also included. If you know the location of these barns and can provide me with information about who owned, lived or who worked on some of the

se farms that I have also shown here, please contact me so that I can record the information for the families/friends/relatives to have for years to come. Long after these old buildings are torn down, there will be no more to replace them...They are the last of a "dying breed."
