G'day, talofa lava, malo lelei, bula vinaka and greetings to all my fellow citizens. My name is Tahana Sini. I am 21 years of age, I live in Sydney with my mum Tracy, 40 and younger siblings Marli,19, Cemesta,17, Illeana,14 & Yatassie, 13.
I am writing and creating this page on Facebook in regards to the tragic and unforsaken tragedy that occurred to my Father, Aaron Sini. He was in Samoa working to look after the family resort and send money to support us, but due to unnatural circumstances on Thursday morning the 19th of February 2015 due to a severe heart attack my father’s passing was pronounced while he waited for an order at the Fish Market in Apia Markets.
Receiving the news from Samoa to Australia is nothing I wish upon anyone. I felt heartache and pain, the suffering my family will be going through will be nothing compared to us not having a husband, our father to let him know everyday and tell him we love him. But the tragedy does not end there. Our small family wants to bring our daddy home so we can at least see him one more time to spend our last minutes and seconds with him before he is given the proper send-off he deserves and with that being said this probably won’t be possible due to inadequate funding. We are sad because we can’t bring our Daddy home nor can we go to Samoa to retrieve our father. Mixed emotions from heartbreak and sadness are turning into anger, frustration and desperation to see and bring our beloved father back to what we always called home. We have exhausted all our options within the last two days and we don’t know how long it will be before preparations will be made by our father’s immediate family to have him buried there in Samoa. Hence our last desperate attempt to call upon our friends, family and the good hearted people through social media to assist us in Bringing Our Daddy Home. Although we do have some help from a few charities and funeral associations it will not cover the cost needed to transport Daddy back home for his final resting place here in Sydney, Australia. We would like to give him the recognition that our Daddy deserves but most of all visit our Daddy anytime. Rain, hail or shine, to celebrate his birthday not to mention when we have problems we can go visit him and ask for advice and just to say thank you for being the best Dad.
So please join us in our struggle and campaign to Bring Our Daddy Home. I hope that one day we can repay the gratitude the people have done for us to another family who is going through what we are going through.
