🎺🥁🎷 Celebrating Band during National Arts in Education Week! 🎷🥁🎺

Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Mr. McGee, Mr. Tomei, and our incredible Riverwatch Band! 🖤💛

Our band students work hard every day to develop their musical talents, build confidence, and learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, and dedication. Their hard work and passion can be heard throughout The River! 🎶

A huge thank you to Mr. McGee and Mr. Tomei for sharing their love of music and inspiring our students to grow as musicians and as individuals.

We are so proud to celebrate three Riverwatch Middle School students who were selected as winners of the Forsyth Arts Alliance Bookmark Contest! 🏆✨

This week, our 7th grade students had the incredible opportunity to visit the Junior Achievement Discovery Center of North Georgia and experience Finance Park!

Students stepped into simulated adult life scenarios and put their skills to the test as they explored personal finance, career planning, household budgeting, and everyday financial decision-making. From balancing a household budget to making important choices about their future, our students gained valuable real-world skills and a better understanding of the financial decisions they will face as adults.

We love seeing our students learning beyond the classroom and preparing for success in the real world!

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible 7th grade Social Studies teachers for preparing their students and organizing and facilitating this meaningful experience. Their dedication to providing authentic learning opportunities makes a difference!

And, of course, a huge THANK YOU to the Junior Achievement Discovery Center of North Georgia for providing such an engaging and impactful experience for our students!

Today, our Panthers celebrated Constitution Day with a day full of learning, patriotism, and spirit! 🐾❤️🤍💙

Throughout the day, all of our Social Studies classes explored the United States Constitution through engaging games, videos, and interactive activities. Students also had the opportunity to test their knowledge at our Constitution Day Trivia table in the Rotunda!

Our school community showed their spirit with a Red, White, and Blue Spirit Day, and the Panther Pit Stop featured patriotic merchandise throughout the week.

A special thank you to our Social Studies teachers and everyone who helped make Constitution Day a meaningful and memorable experience for our students and staff!

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Mrs. Ray and our amazing Riverwatch Chorus Panthers! 🖤💛

Our chorus students fill The River with music, energy, and incredible talent! Through singing and performing, they are building confidence, learning to work together, and discovering the power of using their voices to connect with others.

Students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of professional attire, presentation, and making a great first impression—skills that will serve them well in high school, college, and future careers.
