GCPS and Gwinnett County Government have teamed up to open the Joyful Learning Academy. The new early learning center will open for the 2026–27 school year in the Shiloh Cluster.

The application window closes on June 17 at 5:00 p.m., and the lottery drawing will be held on June 23.

Spread the word — the Gwinnett Summer Meals Program is back!

Free shelf-stable breakfasts and lunches are available for pickup from 11:00am to 1:00pm weekdays for children 18 and younger and adults 19 and older with disabilities at select parks while supplies last.

GCPS invites parents and guardians, community members, and school district employees to apply for the GEMS Oversight Committee, a group of community and school system representatives charged with the annual review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum standards.

The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for October 27, 2026.

The application deadline is August 7.
