We are posting this to inform you that we have been notified by attorneys that the property adjacent to Rock Springs Park will be commercially zoned. The lawyer representing the tenant said the site is being specifically developed for a company that coats industrial pipes. We are unclear of the hazards associated with these chemicals. We also are unclear as to their "proposed" plans to widen Spriggs Rd (the entry road to the football field) in order to allow tractor trailers to come through. We bring this to your attention as concerned parents and citizens and out of concern for the sports that play at Rock Springs Park. Our children's safety could be in jeopardy with this proposed new development. A meeting is scheduled for May 23 at 7pm at Brooke Forest subdivision clubhouse to discuss how this will impact our community. Please plan to attend this meeting so we can voice our opinions on stopping this from happening.

On Thursday, March 17, 2016 PTSA will provide a dessert table for a Teacher Luncheon which is being hosted by our wonderful Principal Mrs. Wing.

Please contact Beverly Shorter, PTSA Hospitality Chair, with the dessert item you will donate.

Brownies, Cookies, individually wrapped candy, your infamous family favorite desserts will all be welcomed.

Donations can be dropped off at the front office Wednesday, March 16th.
