Suwanee Academy of the Arts Join our family and be inspired through the performing arts! WE OFFER CLASSES FROM BEGINNERS TO PRE-PROFESSIONAL.

Students of all ages and levels enjoy the rewarding experience of a performing arts education in Dance, Music, and Drama at SAA. Choose from ballet, including certification in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet, contemporary, tap, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, and drama. Students may also select private study in voice, piano, and other musical instruments.

WHAT IS A BALLET EXAM REALLY TEACHING?

A ballet examination is about so much more than learning the steps.

Within the Cecchetti Method, examinations give dancers an opportunity to put their training into practice while developing skills that extend far beyond the studio.

✨Preparation — learning the value of consistent, purposeful work
🎶 Musical Awareness — understanding and responding to the music
🩰 Technical Understanding — developing precision, control, coordination, and knowledge
🎭 Performance Skills — bringing artistry, expression, and intention to movement
💫 Confidence — learning to trust your training and yourself
🎯 Goal Setting — working toward something meaningful and measurable
💪 Self-Discipline — discovering that progress comes from commitment and perseverance

The CCA examinations assess both technical proficiency and artistic understanding — because a well-rounded dancer needs both.

And perhaps one of the greatest lessons of all?

Learning how to prepare, step forward, and give your very best.

That is something a dancer can carry with them far beyond the examination room.
