CTE senior healthcare students participated in an activity as part of learning about infection control and the use of personal protective equipment in patient isolation. Students had to properly put on PPE, perform a “pumpkinectomy,” and then remove PPE using correct procedure after being “contaminated.” Thank you to the Flatwoods Walmart for donating pumpkins for this activity!
