Sutter Creek Elementary School

What an incredible evening this year’s Savor Amador turned out to be.

Because of the generosity of our families, attendees, sponsors, donors, and community supporters, together we raised an amazing $38,923 to benefit Sutter Creek students, teachers, classrooms, and enrichment programs. We are truly grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event such a meaningful success. Your support continues to create opportunities that have a direct and lasting impact on our children and our school community.

This year’s event will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Just days after Savor Amador, we lost our longtime host and auctioneer, Frank Halvorson. For many years, Frank brought warmth, humor, generosity, and heart to the live auction, helping shape the spirit and energy of this beloved evening. His presence was truly one of a kind, and he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to be felt throughout our community for years to come. He will be deeply missed, and his shoes can never truly be filled.

From all of us, thank you for being part of Savor Amador and for continuing to show what it means to be truly rooted in community. ✨

Breakfast with a Teacher was a huge success! 🍳✨

22 students and 22 teachers came together this morning at Hotel Sutter for a special breakfast generously donated by Hotel Sutter and their amazing staff. Thanks to this wonderful event, we raised $2,432 for Sutter Creek Elementary School!

A huge shout-out to Mrs. Neville, Ms. Halvorson, and Mrs. Vicari. Your hard work behind the scenes made this event seamless and successful once again.

A heartfelt thank you to all the students who participated and an extra special thank you to Hotel Sutter for their generosity and support of our students and community. 💙

In honor of Read Across America week, Tomorrow is our annual Read-A-Thon Day, 📚📕 It’s also Pajama Day!

“Reading is like traveling in your pajamas” ☺️

Students are encouraged to wear school appropriate pj’s (no slippers)
Students also went home with a read-a-thon pledge sheet not long ago, and all pledges are due tomorrow- 3/6. I have also attached the pledge sheet to this post. This is a great opportunity to encourage kids to read more, challenge themselves by setting reading goals and doing their best to meet them, while raising money for the school, and school activities.
