🤗🤗Hello, Seniors! And Guardians
Too! 🙌 (Miss you!!)
Each year October 1st marks the opening of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) and kicks off our Financial Aid Counseling. 💰💰💰 The deadline for completing the FAFSA is March 2nd, but we definitely recommend that students complete their FAFSA as soon as they can (preferably by the end of October) to secure the best financial aid award package possible. Some pools of money become depleted as awards are distributed to students who file early, so don't delay!!! Whether planning to attend Community College or a four year university (public or private ~ in state or out of state), students are definitely encouraged to complete the FAFSA! Please access our Financial Aid Presentations to learn about about the financial aid application process and programs available to our students through the following link:

Should students or parents/guardians have FAFSA questions *after* viewing the presentation(s), please feel free to contact us for assistance! 🤗
And please, oh please ~ enjoy a wonderful, relaxing and well-deserved upcoming FALL BREAK!!! 😄🌲🍁🍂🍃

💙🤍💙Buffalo Family — Interested in those final college planning steps???
🎉👋🏽🤗Greetings Beloved SENIORS! And Families Too ~
The season of college admissions is coming upon us, so we, as your academic counselors, are *here* to guide you through the planning process whether you are entertaining a four year university, community college, trade school, gap year or ??? Whatever your aspirations may be, we are looking forward to becoming a part of your journey!
Attached is a “College Planning Resources ~ At a Glance ~” document that we hope will streamline your final steps towards making commitments for your life after Amador High. We included the most essential links to college systems and applications at all levels that we rely upon in our college outreach. In our upcoming Senior College Presentation titled “Seniors Making Commitments,” we will present more detailed information on the college application process, share important dates and reminders, address financial aid/scholarship news, and provide a brief overview of your college options.
This pre-recorded Senior College Presentation that you would normally receive live during your English class or at our evening College Planning event for parents/guardians, will be available for you to access starting Wednesday, September 16th through your English Google Classroom, your acusd.org email and/or an In Touch message sent to senior parents/guardians.
We hope that our college information will be of assistance to you and kindly ask that requests for college planning appointments be made following the launch of our Senior College Presentation. Please, take this time to review our attached College Planning Resources. We look forward to helping our seniors and their families during this most exciting season ~ even from a distance! 🤗💙🤗
