Rules of Engagement

The goal of using Facebook by the Sutherland Public School District (SPSD) and teachers or sponsors associated with SPSD is to share important information with our public and engage in an open and respectful dialogue. To help us accomplish this goal we ask that you abide by the following guidelines:

• Engage in open conversation not personal issues. This page is not intended to circumvent regular communication channels for sharing personal issues and concerns. Comments regarding a personal issue with the District or staff member will be removed.

• Be Respectful. Personal attacks or comments that are deemed offensive to any member of our community will not be tolerated. Inappropriate remarks and profanity will be removed.

• Want to boost your product sales? Publish a personal page, and leave ours for sharing news and insights about our District and activities.

• Stay on topic. This is a page dedicated to the education of students in the SPSD. Let’s keep the conversation related to our District and activities. Comments of all kinds are welcome so long as they directly relate to our District or Activities.

• Have a question for a specific employee? Fans should not expect responses to every question or comment posted on this page.

• Be aware of the mission. The mission of the SPSD is education. Please be certain that your comments are appropriate for an educational environment and fans of all ages.

• Be factual. Blatantly inaccurate information will not be allowed. False information will be removed and factual information will be posted.

• Employees of the SPSD may have personal pages. Don’t be surprised or offended if your request to “friend” them is ignored. District policy encourages staff to keep their personal lives personal.

• This page is yours and we want you to feel comfortable sharing your views about the SPSD or activities. Just know, abuse of the above guidelines can lead to removal of a specific posting or the blocking/removal from our fan page.

Wednesday Dress Up Theme-Battle of the Ages

10/07/2026

A little friendly competition, a LOT of Sailor pride, and a whole community helping make it happen! ⚓

Our Homecoming Community Pep-Rally was one for the books! A huge THANK YOU to Adams Bank & Trust for donating water, Andy Scott and all his helpers for feeding us, our serving crew for keeping the line moving, and our Senior Parents for facilitating some awesome games!

These are the days our kids will remember, and we’re grateful for the people who make them possible.

We’ll see everyone at the course, gym, and field tomorrow as our Sailors compete and we celebrate the spirit that makes our school and community so special!

Let’s rock the ship, make some waves, and be loud and proud! GO SAILORS! ⚓
