Their presence is always a blessing. Deer, especially bucks- are the the Great spirit of the forest. Always an honor to be visited by one, but two.. that's really special.

Mother squirrel is once again hitting my bird seed and feeders, 🙄 lol.. One of her two cubs followed her up for lunch, and is nursing while she eats.

Mulberry Tea 🌳🍇☕️

Both the leaves and berries are edible and can be used to make a medicinal and nutritional delicious tea.

I personally prefer the red berries, as they are my absolute favorite berry of all berries. Mulberry trees come in both white and red berries. Be sure to wait until berries are fully ripe before picking. (Dark purple, almost black)

IT'S MULBERRY SEASON YALL!

My favorite berries of all time are starting to bloom right now..They are the sweetest, tastiest berries you'll ever eat. There is nothing like them, so if you haven't tried one.. I insist, you MUST! Mulberries come in a few different species, but the berries are generally white or red. Even 'red Mulberries' are white in the beginning stages but they are very unripe and don't taste good. Wait until they are almost black, the darker the berry the sweeter the juice.

When harvesting, go for the ones that are deep dark purple, almost resembling a black raspberry. If you see actual red ones, leave those and come back in 3-4 days for them. Avoid picking unripe berries, wait until they are literally falling off the trees.. that's when you know it's time!

Wildlife loves Mulberries as well, so if you dont have a well producing tree and you wait too long, its a possibility you may loose out to the all the birds, squirrels, raccoons and whatever else devours them and they definitely gorge themselves all day on some berries. Trees are often spotted due to all the purple stains on the ground from squished fallen berries, not because thier easily identified because without the berries most would walk right past them.

Leaves on the Mulberry tree are also edible and used for tea by some foragers.

One of my FAVORITES to make with Mulberries or really any fresh picked berries, is home made jam. I warn you though, if you make homemade jams.. you'll never be able to buy store bought jelly or jam ever again. I am dead serious. 😅

100/10 Absolutely must try!!! 😍😋

White Clover 🍀

White clover flowers are completely edible and highly nutritious, containing vitamins A, B-complex, C, and E, as well as minerals like calcium and magnesium.

Anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, with immune-boosting properties.

Flowers can be eaten raw, used to create tea, syrup, honey, jelly, etc.

Dried flowers and seed pods can be ground into a nutrient-dense, gluten-free flour.

Often consumed as an infusion to help break fevers, soothe coughs, and clear congestion.

The flowers possess analgesic properties that herbalists use to help alleviate joint pain, gout, and rheumatic aches.

Used as a gentle digestive aid and an alterative to help purify the blood and support the lymphatic system.

⚠️Never pick clover from lawns or roadsides where pesticides or herbicides may have been applied.

‼️White clover contains natural anticoagulants. Consult your doctor if you are already taking blood-thinning medication.

‼️Due to its mild estrogenic effects, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult a physician before using.
