We had a great time connecting with so many young people at the Lassen County Fair yesterday! Great conversations were had about future careers and degree options. We love discovering what inspires the next generation.

As these students prepare to walk across the stage tonight, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate some incredible accomplishments achieved before high school graduation. 🎓✨

Through Lassen College's Dual Enrollment program, 78 students earned honorary cords by successfully completing college coursework while still in high school. If you see black and orange cords among the graduates tonight, you'll know they represent students who chose to get a head start on their college and career goals.

Among this outstanding group were:

✨ 26 Pathway Completers
✨ 6 CNA (HO 150/151) Completers
✨ 6 Basic 32 Firefighter (FS 61) Completers
✨ 1 CAL FIRE Academy Completer
✨ 4 EMT 60 (Emergency Medical Technician I) Completers
✨ 2 Associate Degree Earners

We're especially proud that nearly 40% of this year's graduating class participated in Dual Enrollment coursework, demonstrating a commitment to their future and a willingness to go above and beyond.

Congratulations to all of these students on their hard work, dedication, and achievements. We are proud to be part of your journey and can't wait to see what comes next. 💛💜

With summer around the corner, it means our youth athletics camps are too! 🧡

⚾️ Don’t let your kid miss out on an awesome week at camp! Our youth baseball camp is open to ages 7–13, and for just $100, each camper gets great instruction, skill work, and a camp shirt included.

That’s a great deal for four days of hitting, bunting, pitching, catching, and fielding with a fun camp experience they’ll remember.
