Mt. Lassen Dance Academy is bringing the whimsical story of the Polar Express to Susanville! 🚂 Looking for a thrilling Christmas show to take your family to this holiday season? Come and immerse yourself in the magical story of a little boy, a train, and the value of friendship this December 18th at 6:00 pm at the Veterans Hall. Tickets will be on sale at Margies Book Nook for $15 a ticket.

Registration info for Dance Season 2025-2026
Are you all ready for this upcoming dance season? We are!!! Here’s how you can register your dancer for classes…
1. Come to a registration day! On Wednesday, August 20th 6:00-8:00 pm or Thursday, August 21st from 3:30-7:30 pm. Come to our studio at 110 S Gay St in Susanville, meet your teachers, and sign up for classes! Registration forms will be provided on site and a $20 registration fee will be due per dancer ($15/dancer for a family package)
2. Registration online will be available soon! Our website is under construction but as soon as it is finished you can sign your dancer up for classes and pay the fee through our brand new website!
3. Email [email protected] and you will receive links for registration and payment via email!
We are so excited for our new dance season with Mt Lassen Dance Academy! Come check us out during our registration days! We would love to see you 💚💚💚

The SPAC’s mission is to assist in the economic and visual revitalization of Susanville’s Uptown Business District by providing a state-of-the-art venue for events through the arts, entertainment, education, community involvement, and business.

Exciting news!!!
Hey dance family! We have something big to share with you regarding our new dance studio!
We’ve decided on a name… Mt. Lassen Dance Academy 🏔️ (MLDA for short) We picked a name that we feel gives homage to our beautiful area and signifies the elevated quality that we will be striving for in our new studio.
We hope you love it as much as we do and stay tuned for all the schedule, registration, and new class info to come out soon!

We are thrilled to share that our studio will be going through some big and exciting changes in the next few months. It is time to officially announce the new owners of our beloved dance studio! Joans Studio of Dance has given us a wonderful legacy and we are honored to carry that forward into our very own studio! New name and look coming soon! 💚💚
