As we wrap up another De Boa Kids Camp, I’m feeling incredibly grateful.
Running camp is truly one of my favorite things to do all year. Watching the kids grow in confidence, build friendships, learn new skills, and create memories together is something I never take for granted. But the truth is, camp would never be what it is without the amazing people who pour their hearts into it.
A huge thank you to Rachel, Joey, Leti, Jarrell, Andrew, Hannah, Gage, Nate & Jess. Each of you brought your own energy, talents, patience, and love to camp this week. Whether you were teaching, helping organize, encouraging kids, making them laugh, or simply showing up ready to serve, you helped make this one of the best camps yet.
People often see the finished product, but they don’t always see the countless hours, teamwork, and generosity that happen behind the scenes. I am so thankful to have such an incredible village around me. Your willingness to give your time and your hearts to these kids makes all the difference.
To all of our campers and families, thank you for trusting us and being part of what makes De Boa so special.
My heart is full. ❤️
The greatest camp on earth isn’t about the activities, the games, or even the Jiu Jitsu—it’s about the people.
