The semi-annual training trip to CO is ending. Training included creating new NRA CCW Instructors and certifying first aid & BLS and AVIRT students. All candidates were successful. Special thanks to Adrian at Pikes Peak Security for all his support and assistance. Also, special thanks to Melissa at Dragonman's & Mel (Dragonman) for their great support and assistance without which the fi****ms training would not have been successful. BTW if you haven't been to the Dragonman Military Museum or it's been a few years, you're missing an exceptional experience and education. Make it a must see, itis well worth your time. Finally, thanks to Gordon, an NRA Master Instructor, for his exceptional assistance in the instructor course.

Heading back to AZ tomorrow morning with a stopover in NM. Then get prepare for both an NRA Basic CCW class and NRA Basic Pistol & Pistol Instructor classes.

Unfamiliar with handguns? Do you want to learn how to purchase and safely handle and shoot handguns. Pucci Associates has the class for you. The next class scheduled for the greater Surprise - Phoenix, AZ area is 2-3 May--the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting (BoPS) class. The course is scheduled for two training sessions to facilitate learning and retention. It is designed for new shooters & handgun owners who want to improve their fundamentals. Also, although not a specific concealed carry course, this course will satisfy the training requirement for an AZ concealed carry permit.

Do you need first aid and CPR training? This program is for everyone. However, if you are a security guard, law enforcement officer, fi****ms instructor, range safety officer (RSO), scuba diver or instructor it is highly recommended you be trained and stay current in these skills. First Aid & CPR classes are conducted as a blended class. Upon registration you will receive a link to the appropriate on-line modules that must be completed before the in-person skills session on 15 March. The skills session will include the use of EpiPens, hemostatic dressings, tourniquets, infant, child, & adult CPR (single & multi-rescuer), and AED use. This past weekend a new group of NRA Pistol Instructors were certified here in the greater Phoenix area. One of the new instructors came from WI. It was a great group of outstanding new instructors who will now go forth and train citizens in the safe and proper use of fi****ms. Great job!

Pucci Associates’ next AZ NRA Basic CCW training in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area is 25-26 October and there is still time to register. This class is also one of the prerequisites for our NRA CCW Instructor course on 8-9 November (need to be an NRA Pistol Instructor also). This class is not for those new to shooting and all attendees must have their own handgun, holster, magazines, and 250 rounds of ammunition. The class will give you the skill sets you actually need to safely carry a concealed handgun and defend yourself and love-ones in a critical defense situation. The class is generally conducted in 2 sessions to facilitate learning and retention. It meets the AZ training requirements for an AZ CCW Permit. Registration closes on 20 October so do not wait until the last minute. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
