Nickel and Hawk Custom Creations

After 20 years, our military life is coming to an end. SMSgt Mathew Hochstein will be retiring December 13. This also means that our family will be relocating and headed HOME. We are sad to announce the Nickel and Hawk will be closing (at least temporarily) once an offer is accepted on our current home. We have loved being part of all of your special moments. You have allowed us to be part of your families, told us secrets bo one else knew, and trusted us to make your family trips even more memorable. We will let you know what the future of Nickel and Hawk will be as soon as we know. Thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts!

Sewing? I guess I do that too! My friend Nate couldnt go to the ball in his rags his wife makes him wear when he is cleaning the house all day. His fairy godmother waved her wand and now he is a handsome prince. Ok, lol, it took a lot more work than that but I can't wait to see his face at the ball when he gets to show off his party shirt!

These have been a secret project for over a year. Hawk was supposed to go to Korea then he got an exception then he was going again and now he is retiring. So I guess I just finished them anyway! Each of the kids and I picked out a fabric to personalize our daddy doll.

These teachers are ready too! Thank you 7th grade for letting me knock this one out of the park!

Back to school prep! The kids designed their own backpacks and mom and dad etched their names in their water bottles. I'm ready for school to start! 😉
