🥕💪 Sports Med Carrot Lab! 🐾
Our Sports Medicine 1 & 2 students are learning about different types of fractures in a creative and hands-on way — using carrots to model real-life injuries! 🩺
Students are identifying, classifying, and “repairing” fracture types as they apply their anatomy and injury knowledge in the lab. It’s innovation in action and another great example of how Wildcats learn by doing. 💙

🏈 Special Guest at Willow Canyon! 💙🐾
This morning, our Girls Flag Football team had an incredible visit from Juan Roque — former ASU Football All-American (1995 & 1996), Arizona State Sports Hall of Fame inductee (2009), and former NFL player for the Detroit Lions.
He shared his journey, leadership lessons, and what it takes to compete with Work Ethic, Innovation, and Noble Character — the foundation of our Winning Culture here at Willow Canyon.
Thank you, Juan, for inspiring our Wildcats to lead with heart both on and off the field! 💪

Your Last Chance to Make Your Voice Heard!
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4 is Election Day, and is your last opportunity to submit your ballot. Drop it off or vote in person at a Maricopa County Ballot Center. One is conveniently located at the Dysart District Office (15802 N. Parkview Place, Surprise 85374) in the West Board Room. Extended hours on Election Day are 6:00am to 7:00pm, or you can find other locations at https://elections.maricopa.gov/voting/where-to-vote.html

💉 Hands-On Learning in Action! 🐾
Our Sports Medicine students had an incredible opportunity today through GCU Live — learning real-world suturing skills in a hands-on Skills Lab right here on campus! 👏
This interactive experience gives students a glimpse into medical careers while building technical skills and confidence. Huge thanks to Grand Canyon University for partnering with our Wildcats and supporting our mission of Work Ethic, Innovation, and Noble Character. 💙

A huge shoutout to our amazing Key Club members who represented Willow Canyon at Kids Day at the Fair today! 🎡
Our Wildcats were paired with our very own Best Buddies from all four high schools in the district for a day full of smiles, laughter, and connection. The Southwest District Kiwanis made this event truly special — from free lunches to stuffed animals to endless fun! 💛

🗣️🎯 Speak Out! Norse Edition 🐾
Our Wildcats had a blast today playing “Speak Out! Norse Edition” — where pronunciation met pure hilarity! Students put their speaking and guessing skills to the test as they tried to decode tricky Norse names and terms (which are not easy to say!).
Each student used their own disposable mouthpiece, and the laughter was nonstop as teams raced to guess the right words. 😂
Hands-on learning meets creativity and fun — that’s the Winning Culture way! 💙
