This is why I do what I do! My student Tabitha has been in several productions so far, but has always wanted a named role. We swapped out her piano lesson for an audition prep lesson and she got her very first role! I cannot wait to see the show and I am so proud of her!🙌🎭👏 🧞‍♂️

Some of our improv performers with their certificates! This class will be making a comeback soon. We learned to think outside the box, have a good time and to go with the flow. These are all life skills that kids can use outside of class! In addition to making new friends of course!🙌

Songs and scenes is off to a great start! We started off the class by playing some acting games. Then we into our script, analyzing characters motives and working on expression in our voices while reading. We started some basic staging today and also sang a song from our version of Frozen! Next week we will run through everything again and start to learn another song and scene. Students are working on memorization and character building skills throughout this course. Excited for the next 4 weeks of class!🎶🎭

Some shots from our 4 week improv class! The students were given their choice of props and a scene started idea to create their own scene. The scene starter was when a superhero and a villain meet at a coffee shop.
