Snapshots from the week in Mrs. Sbranti’s First Grade! 🍎📚

From using our five senses to investigate the world around us, to putting those senses to the test during an apple experiment, our scientists were busy exploring and making discoveries. We also practiced partner sharing with our weekly writing assignment and kicked off our Read to Self center as we continue building strong independent reading habits. ✏️

Learning with Our Five Senses!

Today, our 1st graders took a sensory walk to investigate their five senses! They listened for birds , touched plants and trees , and stopped to smell the fresh-cut grass. What a fun way to take learning outside and make it come alive!
