Recently we learned all about Daylight savings time, and the kids were so intrigued by learning that while we sit still on Earth, earth is still rotating on its Axis in a “sloth slow” circle! (We mimicked a sloth , to turn in rotation like Earth does all day lol)

We also started learning about different kinds of clocks and will be revisiting our Telling Time lesson again. 😊

Reminder this week on Tuesday & Wednesday, we will be practicing eating lunch like in Kindergarten, so kiddos will need a packed lunch those two days only 😊.

This is solely to practice opening things, getting things out on their own, and being able to do this all on their own in a timely manner so they are ready when this day come, because unfortunately Kindergarten lunch is not long at all from start to finish. So when you are packing this, think Kindergarten lunch 🤗.

Monday is the only day this is changing.

Also next week 9/28-10/1 your kiddos will need to bring their own lunches as we will be practicing eating lunch in a 15 min window like in Kindergarten, (opening and getting everything out of their lunchboxes themselves, and eating in a timely manner) please all I ask is NO juice boxes.

Good morning Parents , just a quick update/reminder, I will be enforcing my ZERO symptom policy from here on out, please do not bring your child to school with any of these symptoms . (Only CLEAR boogers and a cough that has been cleared with a doctors note after being kept home), I will also be requiring a Drs. Note now if a child has persistent allergies, so we know for sure it is infact allergies causing a runny nose/ persistent sneezing etc.

Miss Kelsey came down with shared germs from last week and has been really sick since Saturday, which also means I had to cancel plans I already paid for and close on Monday. So please parents I beg you, please don’t bring unhealthy kids to me as I strive on not having to close , so my other families don’t have to miss work, and I like being able to do things with my family on The Weekends.

I am open like normal today (I have not had a fever in almost 20hrs) but I still am not feeling 100% so please bear with me this week ☺️.

Good morning! Just a reminder as it’s been awhile and the weather is all over the place, please remember if your child needs any medicine before school drop off (other than DOCTOR prescribed or DOCTOR recommended allergy medicine) they should not be at school until they are symptom free.

A lot of the time allergies have not been allergies and then I catch whatever is brought in, so please just be mindful of my home, especially if there is something going around your home already. 🙂

This week was all about Science 🧬! Gummy Bear Science to be exact , and it was S•O • F•U•N !!

We learned all about Osmosis & how to form a Hypothesis for experiments. Your little scientists were so intrigued and had the best hypothesis, when it came to what would happen to each gummy bear we put into our solutions.

We all thought the most impressive one was vinegar, it started to dissolve the gummy bear and we all thought that would happen in Baking Soda. WRONG. Baking soda actually pulled the color from the gummy bear and made it a sponge texture ! 😅

It was definitely a great week of learning
