Merrithew (Stott Pilates umbrella) has acquired Gyrotonic… I can hear Leda now… “It finally happened folks, PiLates owns Gyrotonic.” which for me, reflects back to when she was seriously considering selling her studio, she had the ethos to offer it first to the in house teachers before agreeing to any outside entities. It wasn’t the right time for us but she instilled a moral business sentiment that opportunities don’t come often enough but when they do you need to go for it no matter what because someone else will and they will always do it their way in the end.
I believe change is always good and not everything is meant to last so I see this as an opportunity to accept responsibility to carry my own torch even more, this is a time to take advantage of, not to speculate the negative. I feel Gyrotonic can finally influence Pilates in a more serious manner and grow towards meaningful applications of health and healing movement in medical facilities, schools, main stream media etc. We now hold the ground for showing a larger world what we are all about and this is a gift. I’m still working to open my own wellness movement studio and timing is everything… just have to sell a few more houses 🤣🧘🏼‍♀️🧑🏼‍🩰🌀

A snow storm is the perfect time for me to work on my cacoon room reorganizing, cleaning and bringing a refreshed vibe. I’m so busy on the go all the time and now my whole house feels refreshed:).
