UW-Superior’s on-campus classes for Tuesday, January 29 are canceled due to winter weather. The Yellowjacket Union Dining Hall and the Marcovich Wellness Center will remain open. Online classes are still accessible.

Employees: Campus will remain open, and at this time essential employees should report as regularly scheduled. However, ensuring your safety should always be a top priority. Anyone who feels that it is unsafe to travel to campus is asked to contact their supervisor and make alternate arrangements or an accommodation. We will continue to monitor conditions.

On February 23, 2019 @ 5:30pm, the UWS Black Student Union will host their annual Soul Food Dinner. There will be great food, fellowship, and entertainment. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Mary Canty Merrill, author of Why Black Lives Matter (Too). The First 100 student tickets are free, and faculty, staff, and community tickets cost $7. Pidgeon is an intersex activist, educator, and filmmaker who works to bring more awareness to the experience of intersex people. Their presentation focuses specifically on the history and experiences of intersex identities, followed by a short Q&A session. All are welcome to join us for this wonderful presentation and dialogue!
