Come see the next amazing artist featured in the Kruk Gallery, Sterling Rathsack! It will be on view November 20 to February 17, and we will have a gallery celebration on January 29 from 5–7pm. Our gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 3–7pm completely free (aside from your well-spent time)!

About the exhibit:
In recognizing the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam war, UWS is partnering with The Richard I B**g Historical Center to bring the work of Sterling Rathsack to campus. In the 1990s Rathsack created a body of narrative art based on his two and a half years in the service in Southeast Asia that reflects on the disruptive nature of war and the collateral damage incurred by all parties. Recently the complete set of works were donated to the B**g museum.

On view in the Experimental Gallery October 2 through December 4 is "Because, because, because, because...." by Cara Dunkerley!

Cara grew up in the Kansas City area. She received her BFA in painting from the Kansas City Art Institute. Prior to moving to Brooklyn, NY, Cara completed an MFA in sculpture at the School of the Art Institute Chicago. Her work is wildly contained in lines she draws from childhood comforts, world chaos, and the time spent looking down.
