Dear Wayfinder families,

I have some disappointing news to share: there won't be a dedicated kids jiu-jitsu program in Superior this summer. A few unforeseen work commitments have come up, and I have a surgery scheduled that will keep me off the mats until mid-to-late June.

I'm sorry for any disruption this causes your family's summer plans. We fully intend to bring the kids program back in summer 2027, and my family and I genuinely look forward to seeing you then.

The good news: teen and adult classes are still on! The schedule will be a little lighter and more flexible while I recover, but some of my students and training partners have generously agreed to step in and keep things running. If you're interested in those classes, or if you have questions about the kids program, don't hesitate to message or call—I'm always happy to talk.

Thank you for your continued support. We hope to see you next summer!

Kids' summer classes at Wayfinder start tonight at 5 pm!

Remember, it's only $50 for 6 weeks of classes if you pay up front ($25 for each additional child).

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and slip-on shoes/sandals. Please show up early on the first day to fill out some paperwork.

Classes start tomorrow, Tuesday, 10 June!

If you're a new student, please show up a few minutes early to fill out some paperwork. (We'll be available to start registering around 4:30 pm.)

For children (and adults) showing up to class, please wear comfortable athletic clothing, slip-on shoes, and no jewelry.

Summer is almost here, and Wayfinder Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is once again offering classes for children, teens, and adults.

Our summer calendar and flyer are attached below. Please note that we are no longer able to offer these classes for donations due to insurance and equipment costs, but we are doing everything we can to keep the costs low.

You can choose to pay per class ($10 per class), or make a single payment ($50 first child / $25 each additional child) and your children can attend classes for the entire 6 weeks.

Classes start Tuesday, June 10, in the Superior elementary gym, and continue each Tuesday and Thursday until our last class on Thursday, July 17 (also our end of season competition).

Just a reminder that today at 5 pm is the last kids' class of our summer session. We will have a small, informal tournament and popsicles afterward. Please try not to be late so we can plan the matchups as quickly as possible. Thank you all for a great summer if Jiu-Jitsu!

Apologies for the short notice, but there will not be any Wayfinder Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes today due to sickness in the family. We'll be back for our regularly scheduled class on Wednesday, August 7.

Tonight: we start our summer schedule at 5 pm with kids' class (ages 5 - 12).

Adult class (ages 13 and up) starts right after at 6 pm. We'll have a few visitors in to train from out of town and it promises to be a great night of training. Come check us out!
