🏀2026-2027 SBA Program Registration

🔵Girls Mini-Baller Registration Information

Grades: 1st-4th (Girls only)

Each player will be assigned a team and coach

Cost: $85 per player

Game Dates: 12/12, 12/19, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6

+6 skill/drill sessions with the Spartans

Game Location: Superior High School

Practices: Begin the week of November 30th & will be held at Cooper Elementary School (Each team will practice 1 hour per week)

🔵SBA House League Registration

This program is for:

1. Boys in grades 3–4

Cost: $85 per player.

Teams: Based on elementary school. If needed based on registration numbers, some schools may be merged.

Practices: Start the week of November 30th and take place once per week for 1 hour at Cooper Elementary School.

Games: Held on Saturdays at Superior Middle School from December through February (6 Saturdays – dates TBD).

2. Boys and Girls in grades 5–8

Cost: $125 per player.

Draft Night: Teams are formed via draft. All players MUST be registered to attend Draft Night.

Boys Draft: Tuesday, November 3rd
Grades 5–6: 6:30–7:15 PM @ SMS
Grades 7–8: 7:30–8:15 PM @ SMS

Girls Draft: Thursday, November 5th
Grades 5–6: 6:30–7:15 PM @ SMS
Grades 7–8: 7:30–8:15 PM @ SMS

Practices: Start the week of November 30th. Each team will receive 2 practices per week for 1.5 hours each. Days, times, and locations will be announced once teams are formed and coaches assigned.

Games: Held on Saturdays at Superior Middle School from December through March (Saturday dates TBD).

Grades: 4-8 (Must be a Superior student to try out)

Schedule & Fee
Grades 4-6: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Parent informational meeting during the tryout)
Grades 7-8: 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Fee: Tryouts are FREE.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in at the registration table. Bring your own basketball with your name on it.

Pre-Registration

To register, email [email protected] with "Travel Team Tryouts" in the subject line and include:

Player's full name, grade (2026-27), and gender
Parent/Guardian names, cell phone numbers, and email addresses

Post-Tryout Information

Rosters will be posted on the SBA website by September 13, 2026. If a player is not placed on a travel team, SBA House League and Mini-Ballers registration will open in October via email notification.

The SBA Boys Travel Team rosters for grades 4–6 and 8 are now posted on the Superior Basketball Association website.

If your player is not listed on a travel team roster, information regarding the SBA House League program will be sent out by the end of September.

Please keep the following details in mind:

Requirement: Applications must be completed by all prospective head coaches and assistant coaches.
Interviews: If there is more than one head coach applicant for a specific grade level, interviews will be held on August 26th.
